Why are online credit reports available? There has been an increase in credit theft; therefore more people are being forced to actively manage/monitor their credit scores.

How accurate are the online credit reports? The reports are as accurate as your most recently reported information. In other words as recent as the activity which has been reported by your creditors.
Are these available to everyone? Normally these are available to anyone with a national identifier number (in the United States these are Social Security Numbers).

What if I don’t want certain information reported on my report? The online report will report the information that is available about you, regardless of whether you request certain information to be omitted. The only exception is information which you can prove to be inaccurate.

What if information being reported belongs to someone else? Again, each credit reporting agency has a procedure for correcting any inaccuracies.

How much does a credit monitoring service cost? That pretty much depends upon the service, monitoring company, and level of monitoring is requested.

Where can agencies report my credit from? A credit reporting agency can exist in any part of the world; however, the information being reported is normally region specific
